fifteen minutes after a break up, i'm walking home. i can't recall if i'm texting or calling someone, but i remember what i'm asking for: "i need to see everyone tonight. i'm bringing a camera." the pain of rejection gets transmuted into a deeply felt love and appreciation for the friends around me. how did we all end up in this place? how lucky am i to be here? how can i express these emotions to others? i felt pretty raw and confused throughout this school year, but when you add up all the moments that were captured and let them flow together, you get to reclaim your own story.
